Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd (Canada) using Omstar DX1® (2014 - Present)
Agnico Eagle Mines owns five large mines in Canada, Mexico, and Finland. The “La India” gold mine in Mexico tested DX1 for 14 months in five 1.3 megawatt generators. Fuel costs dropped 9.6% and generator efficiency increased 10%. SO2 dropped by 79.4% and NOx by 11.7% (2014-2016). Agnico now uses DX1 for generator and large truck operations.
Coca Cola FEMSA (Mexico) using Omstar DX1® and Omstar Residual® (2014 - Present)
Coca Cols FEMSA owns 47,000 long-haul trucks supplying 70% of Mexico with Coca Cola products. They tested DX1, resulting in 5% fuel economy. In their bottling plant boilers, Omstar Residual testing resulted in fuel savings of 9.3%.
Sumifru using Omstar DX1® and Omstar OpenFlame® (2013 - Present)
Sumifru is the world’s third largest fruit distributor. A fuel economy test of large diesel trucks resulted in a 13% reduction of diesel fuel consumed. SumiFru is expanding use of DX1 to the entire truck fleet, to boilers, and generators. They will commence testing in ships Sep-Nov 2016.
Victory Liner Inc. using Omstar DX1® (2012 - Present)
Victory Liner is one of the largest bus lines in the Philippines with over 500 buses. They tested DX1 with positive results in 2008, meeting all the environmental requirements for Victory. Today they are using additive for all 194 Victory Liner buses since April 2009 – Loves product!
Philippine Coast Guard tested Omstar Residual®
The Philippines Coast Guard tested DX1 on ships and rescue vessels with a 25% reduction in heavy fuel oil consumption. The additive completely dissolved the heavy asphaltenes in the bottom of the fuel tanks, and cleaned the fuel system.
San Miguel Brewery - Polo Brewery tested Omstar OpenFlame®
This brewery provides beer and other beverages for all of the Philippines. They tested OpenFlame in residual fuel oil in boilers, reducing overall fuel costs by 7.76%. Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) was reduced by 17.21% after only a few hours.
Los Angeles Airport Authority Bus System tested Omstar DX1®
Thirty LAX buses were tested for four years and 4,000,000 miles (6.4 Million kilometers). Smoke opacity was reduced 87%, and fleet fuel economy improved as well. When the maintenance manager rebuilt the first diesel engine in the test, cylinder and valve wear were so low he extended engine overhauls from 300,000 miles to 400,000 miles (480,000 to 640,000 kms).
