DownloadCalifornia Air Resources Board's ("CARB") 2004 report revalidated the statistical analysis and results of a test conducted by CARB in 1990, entitled “Effect of D-1280X Additive on Emissions & Fuel Economy.” This report is also available on the CARB website at

CARB's laboratory found that hydrocarbon emissions were reduced by 50% and 28.6%, respectively, with a 95% confidence level, and fuel economy improved by 4.1%, with a 90% confidence level, for diesel trucks owned by the Los Department of Water and Power, which were tested with Omstar DX1 .

DownloadSANAS TESTING LABORATORY found that adding DX1 FUEL & OIL to Unleaded Petrol- 95 RON (ULP95), and also to Diesel 50ppm Sulfur, had no detrimental effect on the quality or specifications of either fuel.

DownloadE.W. Saybolt & Co. Inc. tested DX1 FUEL & OIL (formerly D-1280X) and found it increased Cetane for diesel fuels from 45.5 to 47.5 points and is 99.99976% ashless (2.4 parts out of 1,000,000 parts). Personnel at Saybolt Labs said they'd never seen anything like this in their history.
